Presenting.. French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll originally made by Andre Thuillier in the years 1870's-1890 and marked A14T with ONE OF A KIND costume.
Poured in "Magnolia white" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer.
This head was painted in 2010
Extra Fine Painting. A most excellent doll.
The skin tone is very lovely and ultra pale and with eye shadow
She wears earrings and matching necklace of genuine freshwater pearls and glass seed beads
Finest authentic reproduction solid glass French Paperweight eyes in mauve by HAND GLASS CRAFT OF ENGLAND
Very fine and lustrous rich brown Australian mohair wig with center part curly bangs and soft curls
Her body is authentic reproduction latex French style body with the correct Andre Thuillier lower arms to match the head.
She is dressed in a gorgeous pure Shantung Iridescent silk dress and bonnet featuring an overlay of Vintage Tambour laces in the most elegant pattern. The bonnet is wired and both dress and bonnet embellished with hand made ribbon flowers, with a big taffeta Bow and pure silk ribbon ties. The undergarments are finest Shantung silk fabric in ecru color with bloomers, and corset style full petticoat. .
Hand knitted silk/rayon socks and finest genuine leather French style shoes.
This doll is 25 inches tall (63 cm) and 27 inches with the bonnet (68 cm)
